Queen Jay Foundation was born out of the deep compassion and unwavering commitment of Joan William, a native of Nairobi, Kenya. From a young age, Joan displayed a remarkable generosity, often sharing her pocket money with schoolmates who had nothing to eat and feeling deep empathy for the street children and families she encountered in the streets of Nairobi.
